things we meet in the dark explores the facets of the monstrous between the monstrous and the monstrous.

Together with seven artistic positions, we will shed light on how monsters function as a creative expression of social fears and hopes and ask: Who defines what is monstrous? What are ‘our’ monsters?

And where do we avoid recognising ourselves while deliberately distorting others and other things?
